Alpha Mu Meeting at Warren County Career Center April 28 The newly renovated Warren County Career Center (WCCC) was the location for the Delta Kappa Gamma Alpha Mu chapter meeting on April 28, 2022. Mr. James Evers, Director of the WCCC, conducted a tour of the school while explaining the twelve vocational programs currently in place and some potential future programs. The original building was constructed in 1970, an annex was added in 2000, and the new project was completed in 2020. A delicious luncheon of sandwiches, fresh fruit and vegetables, and desserts was prepared by the Food Production and Management students. DKG members strive to promote professional excellence and growth of woman educators. |
Three new members were inducted into the Alpha Mu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma
Three new members were inducted into the Alpha Mu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma on. From left to right are Susan Loutzenhiser, Jen Madigan, and Amy Eaton.
The Warren Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International was organized in 1956 by Emma Christian. The Society promotes professional and personal growth of its members and excellence in education. It is an honorary society of key women educators in 18 countries.
Guest speaker shared "Victoria Has A Secret" presentation at October meeting
Delta Kappa Gamma Alpha Mu Chapter held its monthly meeting at the Jefferson DeFrees Family Center. The guest speaker was Dr. Ruth Barnes Shaw who has her Master's Degree in Art History and her PhD in History. Her presentation "Victoria Has a Secret" included the history of women's undergarments from the early 1800's to present day.
